MY WORK
I love to write. Particularly, pieces that are thoughtful, creative, nuanced, credible, well-researched, multi-dimensional, and interesting.

As a physician trained in epidemiology, public health and international relations, I have written academic and technical papers in medical and social sciences. However, I also love to make specialist knowledge and health-related issues accessible to a wider audience. I do this through content writing, blogging, photography and film.

I write for 'GP', 'MIMS online' and Patient.info, blog regularly for the British Medical Journal and Global Health Hub, and am an accredited member of the Medical Journalists' Association. I am also a clinical editor at BMJ Learning and a curriculum editor at the Royal College of General Practitioners.

I have travelled and worked all over the world. In 2016 I submitted my first ever travel writing piece to the Bradt Stanford New Travel Writer of the Year competition and made it to the final.

Over the last twenty years I have written theatre and music reviews for my local guide to Oxford.

I am full of ideas and stories waiting for a home. If you would like more information, or to commission a piece, please contact me or reach out via LinkedIn or Twitter.
